About Us: Empower Therapy
Empower was founded in 2012 by parents whose child was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Disappointed by the limitations of the public school system, the parents sought to create a learning environment that could meet their child’s specific academic, language, and social needs and other children on the spectrum.
Realizing that children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder have unique and varying abilities, Empower provides individualized and intensive 1:1 and small group instruction based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA is currently the only proven intervention for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Empower is committed to the overall care of people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. To enrich the ABA experience, Empower also offers Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Peer Social Groups, Inclusive Pre School and life skill training to ensure clients’ overall success.
